This beautiful blue linen handkerchief was made by a sweet lady from our church. She made one for each of the girls in the church and gave them to them to put in their "hope chest" so that they will have "something blue" for their wedding day.
Oh my!
Thank you, Mrs. M, but I am really not ready to think about yet!

I've got a great book for you to read, "The Hope Chest Legacy" by Rebekah Wilson. What a beautiful gift for that sweet lady from your church to give each girl!
Ditto - oh my!
I'm afraid it happens sooner than any of us mamas would like to think about.
It has happened with Joe and Shelby - those three words have finally been said. Yesterday she asked me how much money would it take a month for two people to survive. I don't think she's talking about a little girl roommate!
Wow. So beautiful, and yet so scary to a mama. You're doing everything to raise them in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord" though, and so hopefully, when that day comes, you'll be able to smile big and entrust your daughter to a man other than her daddy...
And I've been wanting to start a hope chest for Addie! Hmmm. I'm going to have to get my hands on the book that Donna mentioned.
